‘Hand & Lock Prize for Embroidery 2014’

The ‘Hand & Lock Prize for Embroidery’ is an annual embroidery competition held in London. The exhibition and prize-giving ceremony is a celebration of international embroidery. Entrants from all over the world made the final 24 after submitting images of their work for the judging panel.

The 3rd prize for open category was awarded to Eranga, for her piece themed ‘Queenly Power’, inspired by the supreme beauty of mathematics in nature.

The competition welcomes in excess of 500 entries annually and provides opportunity for designers all over the world to showcase their finest designs for an audience of fashion editors, taste makers, influencers, industry experts and general public.
